I am going to try and be as objective as possible. I had been thinking for a while about getting a bespoke bike built for participating in the transcontinental race. After checking out their offerings and reading a lot of reviews, I decided to make an appointment.

The great:
- The Jaegher folks are very open to ideas, and they help you pick gear if you are unsure, without proposing things that exceed your budget. We had several long(er) discussions about what I wanted (in person and through mail) and I felt supported all the way.
- The bike build is simply amazing. It's better IRL than on the website pictures. Go and check out the bikes before deciding if you wish to have them bring your wild dreams to fruition.

The good:
- The bike fit gets you a bike that matches your body and your riding style. I felt immediately at home from the first ride (which was rather long, 470 km).

The less:
- The time to deliver my bike was longer than anticipated. Honesty compels me to state that this was due to reasons outside of Jaegher control -- the queue at the painter was rather large -- but I would have expected them to have some more leverage over this and speed things up a bit. However, it was totally worth the wait.

It has been now 8 month I'm riding my Jaegher - Ascender Pure daily and this is an absolute blast. I love it. I had the opportunity to ride other steel frames and it has never been that reactive, dynamic and funny to ride. I recommend the brand 1000 times and especially Emanuel, who would be your point of contact, giving you the right recommendations on how to create your fully custom frame. Thanks again to the team, this is one I'll keep for the rest of my life !

The workmanship in building the frame is first class. My Ascender fits like a glove and rides like a dream. I cannot thank Emanuel and his team enough for their focus and passion to ensure my bike exactly satisfied my requirements. Ich habe mein Ascender seit Juni 2400 km gefahren. Ich bin voll zufrieden! Ich wollte ein comfortable Rennrad für die Berge und lange Strecken (200 km) und habe es dank Emanuel bekommen. Die Zusammenarbeit war super, alle Fragen wurden beantwortet!
Ich kann Jaegher nur weiterempfehlen.

Heel fijne begeleiding door en samenwerking met Emanuel van Jaegher. Resultaat is een absoluut juweeltje (Ascender) waarvan de eerste rij-impressies veelbelovend zijn! Indien op zoek naar een op maat gemaakte fiets met persoonlijk touch een absolute aanrader!

Op en top vakmanschap en kwaliteit! Vanaf de eerste mail een zeer goede begeleiding gekregen van Emmanuel. Tijdens ons eerste verkenningsgesprek was het voor mij al vlug duidelijk dat ik volledig mee was met het Jaegher verhaal. Leuk je eigen ideeën te bespreken waarna je droomfiets gemaakt/gebouwd kan worden op maat, goesting en afhankelijk van je doelstellingen!
Na bijna 2000km ben ik super tevreden van mijn fiets. Rijdt zeer comfortabel en soepel.
Service voor en na verkoop is top!
